Custom Screenprinting

WE ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING FILE FORMATS:
Adobe Illustrator                 .ai
Adobe Photoshop                .psd  (please leave the artwork in layers)
CorelDraw                          .cdr
Encapsulated Post Script     .eps

We also accept:  .tif and .pdf file formats. 
We consider the following formats to be LESS THAN DESIRABLE (HINT, HINT):  jpeg, gif and png.

REALLY IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:
-  Rasterized files must be set to a minimum of 300 dpi (dots per Inch) or greater.
-  THE GREATER THE RESOLUTION (DPI), THE GREATER THE PRINT!!!!!!!!!!!
-  Please include FONTS for artwork created in Illustrator or CorelDraw.
-  If you are not sure how to include FONTS, please create outlines of the FONTS.
-  Submit artwork files to the intended print size.

DOES YOUR ARTWORK CONTAIN SHADING OR BLENDING EFFECTS?  MEET HALFTONES.

-  Halftones are dots used to create the shading effect for the screenprinting process.

-  High screen mesh counts are used to achieve the greatest halftone effect.  

BELOW IS AN EXAMPLE OF A HALFTONE IMAGE TO BE PRINTED:

Please note the image on the right is the image embedded in the high mesh screen.

IS YOUR ARTWORK A PHOTO OR PHOTO REALISTIC?  MEET CMYK.

-  CMYK is a 4 color process used to achieve a more realistic print.
-  We blend Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black.
-  Specific PMS colors are not utilized with this print style.

THE LAST PHASE BEFORE THE PRINTING BEGINS:

-  Our artists will submit a digital proof of your project typically via email. 
-  Please note that UGLYshirtshack.com will not begin printing your project
   until a signed proof is returned to our production department.
